About the role
We’re looking for a collaborative, thoughtful, and driven Account Executive to join our Sales team and help us show the world how AI can accelerate the journey to net zero.
Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll be one of the first members of our new sales team. We’ve built a strong go-to-market foundation and are now expanding on strategies that are already delivering results. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how we grow our reach and impact, and how we partner with some of the world’s most influential industries.
What you’ll be doing
Build relationships and discover opportunities – You’ll develop meaningful connections with stakeholders across the enterprise segment, understanding their challenges and working with them to identify where we can help. This includes attending industry events, sharing insights, tailoring communications, and engaging thoughtfully across different channels.
Guide and support decision-making – From the first conversation to contract signature, you’ll accompany prospects through the sales journey. Discovery will mean listening deeply to uncover real needs. You’ll collaborate closely with them to find solutions, and when needed, travel (around once a month globally) to build stronger partnerships.
Develop expertise – You’ll learn the ins and outs of the cement industry and Carbon Re’s technology, so that you can confidently represent us at conferences, events, and client meetings. You’ll stay up to date on market and competitor trends to help educate prospects and strengthen trust.
Work as part of a team – Success here is a collective effort. You’ll work side-by-side with colleagues across marketing, product, and solutions, sharing feedback from customers to inform our growth. Your curiosity and openness will help us continuously improve.
Track and share progress – You’ll maintain clear visibility of your pipeline, keeping the CRM updated and supporting forecasting. Transparency helps us all move forward together.
What a great fit looks like
Around 2 years of experience as a BDR working in SaaS Sales within a complex enterprise, industrial, or engineering context. You know how to generate and nurture opportunities using a range of tools.
Around 2 years as an AE in a similar environment, with experience meeting targets and closing six-figure enterprise deals.
Comfortable running the full sales process – from prospecting to deal close – while working with others across the team.
